Synapse Pain Medicine Academy’s Training Courses for Doctors

Synapse Pain and Spine Clinic in Chennai, India conducts regular teaching programs for doctors intended in specializing in Pain Medicine and regional anesthesia. Synapse Pain Medicine Academy is run by a multi-disciplinary team that includes certified, experienced Pain physicians, Orthopedicians and physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists. The short course in pain medicine are intended to provide knowledge on pain medicine and pain interventions for allopathic medical doctors. Physicians in the clinic are regular speakers in national and international pain conferences and conduct periodic interventional pain workshops.

Post graduate allopathic medical doctors with MD / MS / DNB in Anesthesiology, Orthopedics, PMR, Radiodiagnosis, Neurosciences (or equivalent)

Course Description:

The pain management and regional anesthesia courses are conducted because the course coordinators are keen in teaching and propagating evidence based scientific information on pain medicine. There is a dearth of good pain medicine and regional anesthesia training programs in this part of the world. This course will be suitable for anesthesia, orthopedic, PMR, radiology post graduates to gain reasonable knowledge about pain medicine and pain interventions. Delegates planning to appear in pain fellowship exams like FIPP and European diplomas will find the course useful.

During the course, delegates will start classes from 10:00 AM to 4.30 PM on all days in the Synapse Pain and Spine Clinic, Besant Nagar, Chennai. On the last date, the course will finish with doubt clearing at 1:00 PM. Delegates can plan their travel after 3:00 PM on the last day.

After successful completion of course, delegates will receive Synapse Pain Academy’s “Certificate Course in Interventional Pain Management”. Delegates appearing in regional anesthesia course will receive Synapse Pain Academy’s “Certificate Course in Ultrasound guided Regional Anesthesia”. These certificate courses are affiliated to Centres of Advanced Pain and Spine Interventions in India – CAPSI Pain India.
